Minka aire is airless - BAD product

"We purchased three Minka Aire Concept II fans for close to $1,000 3 years ago when we did a kitchen/family room remodel. The stainless steel version shown in the advertisement - an adorably modern fan - failed to operate at the two year earmark. That's curplunk! We have generic 15-yr-old fans still spinning. The dealer we purchased it from refused to help us. They are a Peoria, Illinois business we will not purchase from again, nor recommend. Minka Corp Co. reps were not help and told us our fan was dead. Local repair was unavailable. We've got a cute fan in our garage, and a bare ceiling in our kitchen. No more Minkas for us. Big NO. Our el-cheapo fans are still going strong at 15 years. Cute Minkas - no."

"This fan was easy to install. It didn't turn out to move as much air as we had thought it would. Customer service was incredibly helpful and helped us to exchange it for the larger model. Now that we have the appropriately sized model, we enjoy it. It is quiet and makes the room much more comfortable. It was a pleasure doing business with LightingDirect and we highly recommend them."

"I just put this up in our master bedroom. It looks great. It completely changed the look of our room.
It was pretty easy to install. good instructions. The only thing i would recommend is wiring the remote box and getting it mounted to the fan before even attempting to hang it.
The fan is very quiet, has adjustable dimming on the light, and the remote works great.
I just bought another one in white for my daughters room."

"Just installed this fan last week in my kitchen. It's awesome! Very good looking and throws a lot of air. I have the bronze model, and it blends extremely well with the eclectic feel of the room. The remote works flawlessly. I really could not be happier! Great purchase!"
